Darnell Dent is founder and principal of Dent Advisory Services LLC, a management consulting and governance services company based in Austin, Texas. Drawing from his experience as former CEO of four different managed healthcare companies, he brings a wealth of knowledge and insight in organizational and operational leadership into his management consulting practice. His collaborative approach to problem-solving has empowered and motivated executive teams and staff to achieve higher levels of performance. He brings proven leadership, strategic thinking, effective communication, trust, and credibility to the C-suite and the boardroom.

Dent is a former healthcare CEO and is chair of the NACD Texas TriCities Chapter as well as an NACD Board Leadership Fellow. He currently works as a strategic advisor to Softheon Inc., a national cloud-based health insurance technology and services company based in Stony Brook, New York, in addition to serving on the Editorial Advisory Board for Managed Healthcare Executive, a healthcare publication for healthcare executives.
