Chennya Lister is a former teacher with a passion for developing a growth mindset and expanding her knowledge across a range of fields. With 5 years of experience in the field of teaching, she has developed a reputation for intentional planning and building lasting relationships.

Currently serving as Chapter Administrator at NACD Texas TriCities, Chennya oversees logistics, event planning and reporting. She is committed to making meaningful connections with Members and Staff in the Chapter and Nationally, consistently striving for excellence in organizing engaging, relevant and thoughtful programs across the TriCIties Chapter.

Chennya holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching English from the University of Sunderland and a Post-Graduate Certificate from Durham University.  She is known for using a range of methods to facilitate learning and removing barriers inside and outside the classroom. Outside of her professional endeavors, Chennya enjoys traveling, finding new restaurants and horse riding.
