Kathleen McAllister manages an active corporate board portfolio, serving on the boards of Black Hills Corp., The Metals Co., Silverbow Resources, and Hoegh LNG (former HMLP, now privately held). McAllister chairs The Metals Co. audit committee and serves on the Silverbow Resources nominating and strategy committee and on the Black Hills Corp. and Silverbow Resources audit committees. Previously, McAllister served on the board of Maersk Drilling and chaired the audit and risk committee.

As a seasoned public company board director, CEO, and chief financial officer with diverse leadership roles in global, capital-intensive companies in the energy and infrastructure value chains, and having led over $20 billion in capital markets transactions, including a New York Stock Exchange initial public offering, McAllister brings a broad strategic perspective to the complex challenges of operating cyclical businesses in the global marketplace and is known for building strong relationships and communicating effectively with all stakeholders to develop and achieve strategic goals.

On the not-for-profit front, McAllister focuses on families in need, education, and mentoring, serving on the NACD Texas TriCities Chapter board, the University of Houston-Clear Lake College of Business dean’s advisory council, and the board of Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse. She also leads the C200 Corporate Board Forum and co-leads the Women Corporate Directors Houston Chapter. McAllister is a NACD Board Leadership Fellow and a certified public accountant.
