Karen David-Green is an independent board director who brings high-impact experience in capital markets, acquisitions and divestitures, strategy, business and cultural transformation, corporate governance, environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) and sustainability, digital solutions, marketing, and communication and reputation management.

David-Green has 30 years of experience, including serving in senior leadership positions on Wall Street and as a C-suite executive and officer in the corporate sphere for companies operating in more than 60 countries with a global operating footprint and diverse employee base. She provides a well-rounded global perspective on capital markets, strategy, ESG, stakeholder relations, and marketing and communications. Known for proactive shareholder engagement, her industry experience includes analytics, capital market transactions, demand generation, crisis management, and scaling businesses in a highly cyclical environment and go-to-market strategies.

David-Green serves as an independent board member for NOW Inc. (NYSE: DNOW) and PHX Energy Services Corp. (TSX: PHX), where she is a member of the audit, compensation, and the human resources committees. She also serves as chair of the development committee for the nonprofit Small Steps Nurturing Center. In her corporate roles, she served as a trusted advisor to the board and committees, presenting regularly at quarterly board meetings and actively participating in reviews of financial and operating results. In addition, David-Green served as a member of the executive management team, president of the Weatherford Foundation Inc., chair of the Sustainability Leadership Council, and as an executive member of the disclosure and global business continuity and planning committees.

During her tenure at Weatherford International plc, David-Green helped redefine the strategy, core values, and mission while driving business and cultural transformation. As senior vice president and a member of the executive management committee, David-Green was instrumental in redefining the market position and helped transform the company into one of the industry’s most forward-looking brands, shaping the culture and driving employee engagement for the company’s broad global infrastructure spanning more than 80 countries. She transformed global marketing and communications to strategically position the portfolio of solutions, creating value-selling propositions and international award-winning campaigns to launch and market products and services globally. Her team consistently delivered measurable results that helped drive revenue and profitability.

Most recently, as a member of the executive management team for Expro Group N.V., a multinational service company, she was instrumental in helping complete a reverse merger and in shaping the public profile. She led the Sustainability Leadership Council to guide the ESG sustainability agenda and was responsible for issuing the inaugural ESG Report where the MSCI rating of the combined entity increased two levels to above average in less than a year. Only 2 percent of companies covered achieved a two-ranking increase.

Earlier in her career, David-Green was director of global market research for Baker Hughes Inc. where she led strategic, competitive, and customer intelligence, advising leadership worldwide. She also served as executive director of equity research at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., where she led the oilfield service equity research franchise and was responsible for issuing investment strategies and research recommendations to institutional clients globally. Prior to Oppenheimer, she managed a multibillion-dollar institutional fixed-income chemical portfolio on the buy-side.

David-Green has been recognized for numerous awards throughout her career, most recently named a 2023 Top 50 Chief Communications Officer and 2020 Top 50 Women in Oil and Gas, a 2020 Global Leader of Influence by the World Affairs Council of Houston, and a 2019 Breakthrough Woman of the Year by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce. She is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences. David-Green earned the NACD.DC™ designation from NACD. She earned her bachelor of business administration in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a specialized executive certification from the University of Cambridge.
