Janet S. Wong is an accomplished executive with a 30-plus year history of demonstrated business leadership. Currently, she is an independent board director with strong governance experience and recognition as a qualified Financial Expert by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. She serves on the boards of Lucid Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: LCID), a sustainable mobility company producing luxury electric vehicles and electric powertrain systems; Enviva Inc. (NYSE: EVA), a leading global energy company manufacturing sustainable wood bioenergy; and Lumentum Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: LITE), a high-technology manufacturer of innovative photonics to accelerate the speed and scale of the cloud, networking, advanced manufacturing and 3D sensing. She served on the board of Shine Technologies, a privately held company focused on next generation clean energy. From April 2020 to September 2022, she served on the board of Allegiance Bancshares, until it completed a merger on October 1, 2022. In December 2018, Directors & Boards magazine named her to its Directors to Watch list in recognition of her board governance and leadership experience. In April 2022, the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) named her to its 2022 Directorship 100™, an annual honor for leading directors and governance professionals.

She served as a senior partner with KPMG, a global professional services organization, where she spent most of her career based in the San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices, providing her industry experience in consumer products, financial services, manufacturing, and technology. Wong has worked with Fortune 500 companies and emerging-technology companies that grew to successful publicly listed companies. She has been a trusted advisor to global companies, working with CEOs, chief financial officers, board directors, and audit committees. Her consulting experience includes challenges facing many global innovative companies, such as strategic and operational issues, risk and regulatory matters that include cybersecurity, digital transformation, internal controls over financial reporting, and mergers and acquisition transaction advice.

Wong also has a strong record of governance experience with professional and nonprofit organizations including current board roles with the Computer History Museum, the Louisiana Tech University Foundation (emeritus status), and the NACD Texas TriCities Chapter. She is an established thought leader and frequent speaker on current issues including corporate board governance; environmental, social, and governance; financial reporting; audit committees; nominating and governance committees; and leadership development.

Wong is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a NACD Certified Director. She earned her master of professional accountancy from Louisiana Tech University and master of taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
