About The Event
We gathered in the Woodlands at ChampionX Headquarters, where our panel discussed the latest hot topics and trends in compensation.
Topics included the expansion of clawback policies, recent FTC rulings on non-compete agreements, and the complex role of shareholder advisory firms in influencing compensation decisions. Panelists provided insights on setting and achieving performance goals, succession planning best practices, and the impact of political shifts and ESG goals on executive pay.
Additionally, the session covered compensation strategies across public, private, and nonprofit boards, recent trends in director pay, and valuable lessons from seasoned committee members. Ideal for board directors, this program offered essential guidance for managing risk and aligning compensation with organizational goals.
A special thank you to Gail Stewart, our lead panelist, for skillfully guiding this dynamic discussion, and to our panelists, David Bixby, Mark McCollum, and Julie Robertson, for sharing their invaluable expertise and experiences with us.
We also want to extend our appreciation to Soma Somasundaram and John Breed of ChampionX for hosting us, making it a memorable event.
