Will Ambidge

Vice President—Global Political Violence, War & Terrorism, Lockton

Will Ambidge is a broker within the crisis management team at Lockton, more specifically the war terrorism and political violence team. He is responsible for the placement and servicing of political violence and terrorism accounts within the Lloyd’s, London, and European markets.

Ambidge has complete understanding of the start to finish process of quota share, primary, and excess layer placements. He is responsible for handling complex terrorism and political-violence placements as well as large international placements. His expertise includes managing reinsurance programs for both domestic and overseas assets and addressing energy risks. Ambidge also oversees telecommunications infrastructure, active-assailant coverage, crisis management, and real-estate portfolios. Additionally, he works with facility placements, food and beverage clients, and various forms of coverage such as quota share, primary, and excess placements. His role extends to managing worldwide property, terrorism, and political-violence risks, with a particular focus on US terrorism and sabotage. Ambidge’s expertise also covers power, energy, and utilities, along with conducting terrorism exposure analysis.

Prior to joining Lockton, Ambidge undertook his university studies in business and management at Oxford Brookes University.
