Tuck leads the Global Technology Sector for Russell Reynolds Associates. He’s also a senior member of our Board & CEO Advisory Partners, where he focuses on transformational leadership issues ranging from CEO succession to board recruitment and alignment. Tuck works closely with high growth technology companies, as well as Global 1000 organizations across all industries, on the recruitment of high-impact digital and technology executives. Tuck also partners with private equity and venture capital firms to recruit senior leaders to their portfolio companies. He is the author of numerous thought pieces related to technology and digital transformation and is a member of the Fast Company Executive Board. He splits his time between San Francisco and Boston. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates more than 20 years ago, Tuck was Founder and CEO of Virtual Emporium Inc., a venture-backed ecommerce company. He was previously with Harman International as Product Manager, Multimedia Accessories, where he launched their OEM business. Earlier in his career, Tuck was a vice president in the consumer group at Montgomery Securities, a consultant with Corporate Decisions and a financial analyst with Goldman Sachs in New York and Australia. Tuck received his BA in economics from Williams College and his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he has served on the alumni board. He is also a board director of the Bay Area Council in San Francisco, a trustee of Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary and an advisory board member of a growth stage cyber security software company.
