Stephen Smith is the Co-Founder and CEO of G7 Research LLC which provides mentoring to C-level entrepreneurs in the areas of artificial intelligence and strategic planning. Prior to G7 Research, he co-founded and sold the company Optas - the leading CRM / Marketing Automation solution in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. He has conducted research and published journal articles in the fields of AI, machine learning, parallel supercomputing, natural language processing and simulated evolution. He currently serves as mentor at the MIT Venture Mentoring Service and the Harvard Innovation Labs and was the founding Chairman of the Board of Raising a Reader Massachusetts.”¯He has published two books through McGraw-Hill on machine learning and holds several patents in the fields of educational technology, big data analytics, and machine learning. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MS in Applied Sciences from Harvard University.
