Sir Rob is the UBS Group Chief Information Security Officer and joined UBS in this role in June 2023. He is based in London, is from the UK, and joins us from Deloitte, where he spent the last five years as a partner advising boards and senior executives of global companies on cyber, financial crime, risk, and data issues. Prior to Deloitte, Sir Rob spent nine years as executive director of Europol, the EU’s law enforcement agency coordinating global operations against cyber, criminal, and terrorist networks, where he pioneered the use of data and technology to drive a better response across Europe to cybercrime, terrorism, and other major security threats. He is a member of the board of the Global Cyber Alliance. He was knighted in 2018 for services to policing and security.
