Global executive Shubhi Rao is a veteran of Fortune 500 brands. In the span of 25-years, her career has transformed from junior systems engineer and financial analyst to Board Member, Treasurer & Officer of Alphabet / Google to Ford, Tesco, more recently, to COO/CFO of a fin-tech start-up in Austin.

As a senior leader, officer, board member and self ascribed data enthusiast, Shubhi is accustomed to being the only woman in the room. As the first woman, and first woman-of-color to hold senior executive treasury roles at these multinational brands, Shubhi leveraged that experience, along with her appetite for data, to champion equality practices that uplift professional women. That passion sparked her most recent venture, Pecan Chase Holdings, a mission-driven collective, broadening the intersection of professional women, data and technology.

In addition to her “day job”, Shubhi is a mother, wife, fundraiser and serves on the boards of two think tanks— International Center for Research on Women (IRCW) and Center for Global Development (CGD). She is also an honorary member of the executive advisory council for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and was most recently appointed to the board of Open Lending, LLC (NYSE: LPRO).

Shubhi earned her B.S in Computer Science Engineering from Michigan State University and a MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
