Sezin is EY’s Americas health data and AI leader and Global health AI leader, focusing on provider and payer AI, data and analytics. She is passionate about leveraging technology to help clients make better use of data to glean critical insights into their business operations, processes and clinical outcomes.
Sezin brings more than two decades of experience focused on technology R&D, including applying data analytics to medical research and clinical care to transform healthcare systems into data-driven organizations.
Key projects Sezin has led include:
• Rapid development and deployment of LLM use cases in a leading AMC spanning healthcare and clinical research, focusing on improved clinical operations, patient outcomes and clinical trials efficiency.
• Development of large-scale, data analytics platforms and associated AI and analytics tools for a leading AMCs and large health system . These transformative projects resulted in timely and secure access to sensitive data, the ability to identify new patient subgroups within disease types for better targeted interventions, and improved clinical operations.
• Build and deployment of a perioperative scheduling tool for a large health system using predictive modeling to enable more efficient scheduling and optimization of slot utilization.
• Development of an NLP-based contracts compliance workbench for the largest Medicaid managed services organization, enabling orders of magnitude improvements in efficiency in reviewing contract requirements across multiple states and quickly identifying compliance concerns.
• Development of new data governance models and associated operating models to provide improved data quality and data management practices across government and commercial health systems.
• Creation of new operating models to efficiently provide needed IT services to researchers in a leading AMC.
• Development of LLM tool to automatically generate clinical study reports from study data.
Sezin holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
