Professional Experience: Sajay Rai has more than four decades of experience in information technology, specializing in cyber security, international privacy regulations, enterprise risk management and data breach / incident response planning. Mr. Rai is the Founder and CEO of Securely Yours LLC and Securely Managed LLC.

Prior to starting the two cyber security companies, Mr. Rai was a Cyber Security and Risk Partner with Ernst & Young LLP for 10 years. Mr. Rai led Ernst & Young’s national cyber security and risk practice for several years.

Mr. Rai also worked with IBM for 13 years, most recently serving as an executive of the national Business Continuity and Contingency consulting practice. He was instrumental in starting the company’s Information Security consulting practice.

International and Industry Experience: Extensive global experience having worked with executive around the world – North America (USA, Canada, Mexico), Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru), Asia (Hong Kong, India and Indonesia) and Africa (Kenya). Industry experience include manufacturing, insurance, finance, retail and e-Commerce.

Author: Mr. Rai is a thought leader and internationally renowned author of three books titled "Security and Auditing of Smart Devices", "Sawyer's Internal Audit Handbook 6th Edition" and "Defending the Digital Frontier – A Security Agenda". In addition, Mr. Rai is frequent author of articles and guides related to cyber and technology risks.

Non-profit Board Positions: Mr. Rai serves on the board of ISACA’s Detroit Chapter and the IIA’s Detroit Chapter. Mr. Rai has served as the President for both these boards in the past. He is also on the board of Society of Information Management’s Detroit Chapter.

Advisory Boards: Mr. Rai is on the advisory board of Walsh College’s Accountancy Department, Wayne State University’s Information System Department and University of Detroit Mercy’s Cyber Security Center.
