Priya Cherian Huskins is an experienced public and private company board member.

She serves on the board of directors of Realty Income Corp. (NYSE: O), an S&P 500 company. Cherian Huskins chairs Realty Income’s compensation committee and serves on the nominating and governance committee. She also serves on the board of NMI Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: NMIH) and is a member of the compensation and the nominating and governance committees.

Cherian Huskins is the Presiding Director of Woodruff Sawyer, where she also chairs the compensation committee and serves on the nominating and governance committee. She also serves on the board of the Long-Term Stock Exchange, where she serves on the audit and the governance committees.

Cherian Huskins was formerly the lead independent board member for Anzu Special Acquisition Corp I (Nasdaq: ANZUU).

Cherian Huskins is a partner at Woodruff Sawyer, a full-service insurance brokerage that services clients worldwide. She is a recognized expert in directors and officers (D&O) liability risk and its mitigation. In addition to consulting on D&O insurance matters, she counsels clients on corporate governance, including ways to reduce their exposure to shareholder lawsuits and regulatory investigations.

Cherian Huskins is a frequent speaker on D&O issues. She has appeared on CNBC and been quoted in publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and the Financial Times. She is also the editor of the D&O Notebook, a blog that analyzes issues as they arise in the areas of D&O liability, insurance, and corporate governance. In 2024, Cherian Huskins became an NACD Directorship 100™ honoree.

Cherian Huskins is a member of the advisory board of the Stanford Rock Center for Corporate Governance and is an active participant in their programs, including as faculty for the Stanford Directors’ College.

Prior to joining Woodruff Sawyer, Cherian Huskins practiced corporate and securities law at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. She has worked with both public and private technology companies through all stages of their development, including initial public offerings and mergers-and-acquisitions transactions.

Cherian Huskins was awarded her juris doctorate with honors from the University of Chicago Law School. She earned her undergraduate degree with high honors from Harvard University.
