Patricia “Patty” Bedient chairs the board of directors for Alaska Air Group. She also serves on the boards of directors for Suncor Energy, where she chairs the audit committee, and Park Hotels and Resorts, serving on the audit committee and chairing the nominating and governance committee. Previous service includes as past chair of Overlake Medical Center, as vice chair of the governing board of Oregon State University, as a member of the OSU Foundation board of trustees, and as a member of the University of Washington Foster School of Business advisory board. Bedient joined Weyerhaeuser Co. in 2003 as vice president of strategic planning. From 2006 until 2007, she served as senior vice president of finance and strategic planning and as executive vice president and chief financial officer from 2007 until her retirement in February 2016. Prior to joining Weyerhaeuser, she was with Arthur Andersen LLP for 27 years and served as the managing partner of the Seattle office.
