Marvin White

President and CEO of Aptevo Therapeutics Inc. 

Marvin White has served as president and CEO and a member of the board of directors of Aptevo Therapeutics since August 2016. Previously, White served as chief financial officer (CFO) of St. Vincent Health and was responsible for finance, patient financial services, and managed care for all 19 hospitals and 36 joint ventures. Prior to St. Vincent, White served as CFO of LillyUSA, a subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Co., where he also held leadership positions in corporate finance and investment banking. Prior to his career in health care, White held leadership positions at General Motors, Hewlett-Packard, and Motorola, including financial roles for the latter’s Japan, South Asia, and Latin America Cellular Group. He serves on the boards of OneAmerica Financial Partners, Delta Dental of Washington, and Emergent BioSolutions. White earned his bachelor of science in accounting from Wilberforce University (a historically black college and university), and a master of business administration in finance from Indiana University where he was awarded the Consortium Fellowship.
