Global Chief Technology Officer at Gallagher and Freddie Mac Board Member
Mark H. Bloom, Arthur Gallagher’s Global Chief Information Officer, is responsible for leading the company’s global information technology and security efforts. Mr. Bloom has more than 30 years of business and technology experience. He currently serves as a non-executive Board member of Freddie Mac. Before coming to Gallagher, Mr. Bloom served as the Global Chief Technology Officer and a member of the Management Board of Aegon N.V., a multinational life insurance, pensions, and asset management company. Before joining Aegon, Mr. Bloom held various positions at Citigroup, Inc., including Managing Director, Head of Global Consumer Digital and Operations Technology, where he was globally responsible for digital, data, and operations technology solutions and innovations. Prior to that, Mr. Bloom held various positions at JP Morgan Chase & Company, including Senior Vice President, Chase Home Finance Technology; and he was Senior Vice President, eBusiness Solutions at CACI International. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Bucknell University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and an MBA in International Business from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
