Lindsey Baker

Lindsey Baker is a leader in the board effectiveness practice at Accenture, a global leader in consulting and technology. In her role, she advises boards, corporate directors and executives on current boardroom issues and governance trends, helping clients across industries to optimize their board performance and align their business goals with sustainability principles. Before joining Accenture in June 2022, Lindsey spent over nine years at NACD, the nation’s leading authority on boardroom practices. As the director of partner relations, she was responsible for cultivating, growing, and renewing sponsor and partner accounts, generating annual revenue for the association, and delivering high-quality events, educational programs, and publications on governance best practices. Additionally, she hosted, moderated, and facilitated various panels and roundtable discussions with partners, corporate directors, and c-suite executives, covering topics such as cybersecurity, trust, governance, workforce of the future, and compensation. Prior to joining NACD, she managed partnerships at the Club Management Association of America and worked in collegiate athletic marketing. Currently, Lindsey serves on the Phoenix Club Advisory Board at Elon University. She holds a BA in Business Administration with a marketing concentration and minor in Spanish from Elon University.
