Laurie Yoler is an investor and general partner at Playground Global, an early-stage, deep-tech venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. Yoler has served on the boards of public, private, and nonprofit organizations. Most notably, she served as a founding board member of Tesla, serving on the board of directors from the earliest days and on the board of advisors through taking the company public. She was also president of Qualcomm Labs, board member at autonomous-vehicle company Zoox (now part of Amazon), founding managing director at GrowthPoint Technology Partners, founder of Sun Microsystems Ventures, and original product manager for the Visa Debit Card. She currently sits on the board of Church and Dwight and NACD Northern California's Nom/Gov chair.
