Lane Summerhays graduated Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration. He is a CPA, having worked for two international public accounting firms.  He has been in the insurance industry for 32-year including serving as President and CEO of WCF Insurance Co., Utah’s largest workers’ compensation insurance carrier.  

Lane retired in 2008 to become President of the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2008-2011).   He currently serves on three corporate boards and is active in the community serving as the President of the Days of ’47.

He and his wife Marilyn have six children, 22 grandchildren and two great-frandchildren.  His hobbies include fly fishing, horses, tennis and gardening.
