Kim Case is a partner and principal at Ernst & Young, focused on talent, change, and communications in organizational transformations and transactions. Case’s accomplishments and examples of expertise are varied and international. She collaborated with human resources (HR) and finance to develop the change-management strategy and communications plan to support finance transformation in a leading automotive organization. She has worked with a global insurance company to assess and stratify the talent within internal audit to generate leadership-development strategies and succession plans. She collaborated with client leadership on mobilizing a global change and communications team supporting multiple divestments of a global life-sciences company in 70 countries, with deal value of $9 billion and over 4,500 employees. Case led the organizational readiness workstream for a technology services company’s initial public offering and led the international employee-onboarding and international HR project-management-office teams to support a merger within the asset management industry, across 16 countries and 105,000 employees. Case managed the change management and communications team to support the carve out of a business unit with over 8,000 employees in 66 countries in the consumer products industry. She developed the communications and training strategy for a controller’s transformation, including cost reduction and process optimization for a global insurer, aligning approach and messaging to a broader finance transformation. She led the development of the communications and change management plan to support outsourcing and cost reduction within the finance function in the property management industry, and she developed the change and communications strategy for a health care organization undergoing reorganization, process, and systems transformation. Case developed the communications strategy, crafted the communications plan, and executed on internal and external communications to support the carve out of a business within a global consumer-products organization. She acted as global project manager for the HR and communications functions to support a global carve out of a health care organization, managing employee engagement and retention in 45 countries.
