Kathleen Lehman Hajek serves as the North American Practice Leader Life Sciences and Healthcare working in the Raleigh, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. offices. Kathleen has over 20 years of experience in executive search recruiting C-Suite, senior executive leaders and board members for life sciences and healthcare services organizations. Kathleen’s diverse client base includes: global pharmaceutical and medical device companies, leading integrated delivery systems, emerging growth companies, non-profit organizations and associations. Prior to Stanton Chase Kathleen held leadership positions with boutique and established firms including McGahey Group and Heidrick & Struggles. Kathleen launched her career as Manager of Recruiting with Deloitte where she helped expand the firm’s healthcare and bio-technology practices. She has also driven cross-functional collaboration, improved global communication, promoted best practices and cultivated an expansive network of senior leadership contacts across North America with emphasis on CEO and Board relationships. Kathleen is an active member Executive Alliance and the ION Network, supporting diversity, equity and inclusion by advocacy, education and mentoring to increase women appointed to corporate boards. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan and studied abroad at the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain. She is certified in Hogan Leadership Assessment. Kathleen serves as Vice Chair of JusticeMatters, addressing the roots and repercussions of human trafficking in North Carolina.
