Jesus Mantas is the Global Managing Partner in IBM Consulting responsible for Business Transformation Services. He leads the global team of IBM professionals helping clients design, transform and operate their mission critical business processes, integrating technology with consulting expertise to accelerate their digital transformations. He additionally leads the IBM Consulting acquisition portfolio. In his prior role as Global Managing Partner of Strategy, Innovation and Corporate Development, he defined and executed IBM Consulting offerings, ecosystem, acquisition and thought leadership strategies. He previously held multiple P&L roles in IBM as General Manager of IBM Global Business Process Outsourcing, General Manager of IBM Consulting in Latin America, and Managing Partner of North America General Business Market. Jesus has a successful track record leading change, delivering growth, and implementing large scale enterprise transformations across cultures and industries. He has been responsible for designing, closing, and delivering multiple large strategic client relationships in Europe, North and Latin America. He is known for depth in both technology and business transformation, and for his commitment to leadership development and advocating for the Hispanic community. Before joining IBM, Jesus was a partner in the High Technology Practice of PricewaterhouseCooper Consulting. He also worked for Ernst & Young and lead supply chain systems for Procter & Gamble in Spain. Jesus serves on IBM’s Performance, Acceleration and Technology Leadership Teams and is the emeritus chair of IBM’s Hispanic Diversity Council. He is an Independent Director of Biogen Inc (NASDAQ:BIIB), a leading biotechnology company focused on neuroscience. He is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global AI Council and serves on the Board of HITEC, a non-profit focused on leadership development of Hispanic technology executives. Jesus holds degrees in Telecommunications, Software Engineering, and Business Administration by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, was an adjunct professor at the University of California, Irvine; and served as an officer in the Air Force of Spain.
