Ian Morrison is Microsoft’s National Director of Data & Artificial Intelligence Solutions for the Healthcare Payor and Provider market.  He leads a specialized team that works with customers across the US to help them digitally transform as they reimagine healthcare delivery, enable more personalized care, empower care teams, and improve clinical and operational outcomes through the power of data and AI.  In this capacity, Ian advises healthcare leaders on technology capabilities, architectures, and culture that help them advance organizational data maturity in support of their strategic imperatives.

With over twenty years of experience working in the enterprise technology sector, more than seventeen of those being at Microsoft, Ian has served as a strategic advisor to hundreds of customers across all industries.  He is passionate about solving complex business and technology challenges and leverages a diverse range of experiences to take a holistic and measured approach to driving business value.

Ian is an active board member of the Tennessee HIMSS Chapter, a contributing author of Jonas and Kovner's Health Care Delivery in the United States (13th edition), holds a BA in Computer Science and Business from the University at Albany, and has earned many industry and technical certifications throughout his career.
