Board Member, Lantronix, Transient Plasma Systems (TPS)

Hoshi Printer brings over four decades of extensive board and financial management experience across diverse industries. Currently, he chairs the Audit Committee at Lantronix, a publicly traded technology firm, and serves as Vice Chair at Transient Plasma Systems, a venture-backed technology company focusing on ignition and emissions efficiency. He previously served as the Chair of the Audit Committee at AGP Group, an international, privately held company providing “smart glass” to the EV automotive sector.

For five years, he was an independent board member at Hyland’s, a family-owned pharmaceutical business, facilitating its successful sale to a private equity group. Hoshi’s financial acumen extends to his role as CFO for ten technology companies, covering sectors such as internet, ecommerce, software, storage, and biosciences. Notably, he led three companies to successful IPOs and expertly navigated financial matters, including fundraising, acquisitions, and operational optimization. His board leadership is further distinguished by his designation as a Board Leadership Fellow by NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) and his nine-year tenure on the board of its Pacific Southwest Chapter. Beginning his career at Xerox Corporation, Hoshi’s achievements led to an invitation to the White House as a Cash Management consultant, where he improved cash flow for government agencies.

Hoshi holds an MBA from Stanford Business School, an MS in Industrial Engineering, and a dual BS in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He is a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, having served as a Lieutenant.
