Heather Cozart is a certified public accountant providing consulting services on accounting and financial reporting matters in a variety of industries. She is a retired audit partner from a national accounting and advisory firm, with a career serving public companies and in various leadership roles. Her work included serving as the audit engagement partner for SEC registrants, leading outsourced internal audit functions and Sarbanes- Oxley compliance projects, and assisting companies through IPOs and numerous M&A activities. Heather serves on the Board of Directors for Blue Ridge Bankshares, Inc. (NYSE: BRBS) and Blue Ridge Bank, NA, and is also on the Board of Trustees of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. Heather is NACD Directorship Certified and achieved the CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight (through the NACD and Carnegie Mellon University). She earned her BS in accounting at Salisbury University, Perdue School of Business.
