

Frances Jeter, NACD.DC

Ms. Jeter has been a Director of Stellar Bancorp, Inc. since Oct. 2022 and prior to that a member of the Board of Directors of Allegiance Bancshares since 2014.
At FGS Global, Ms. Jeter has advised clients on crisis preparedness and response, reputation management, and litigation support as well as complex transactions and special situations, including mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, IPO's, restructurings, and shareholder activism. Frances also advises multiple energy, industrial, extractive industry and technology clients on governance, sustainability and energy transition matters.
As a current director of a public company board and in her role at FGS Global, Ms. Jeter is focused on corporate strategy and execution, corporate governance, risk assessment, sustainability, corporate reputation and issues management, succession planning, executive transition, human capital and compensation matters.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Ms. Jeter was Group Vice President of Internal and External Affairs for Spectra Energy, a pipeline and midstream company, where she was responsible for investor and financial communications, issues management and crisis communications, sustainability and ESG, stakeholder relations, executive positioning and communications, media, brand and graphics. She previously served as Vice President of Public Affairs for Duke Energy Gas Transmission, a predecessor company of Spectra Energy.
Ms. Jeter is a board member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and Co-Chair of the Program Committee; a member of Women Corporate Directors; member of the United Way of Greater Houston’s Alexis de Tocqueville Society and Resource Development Committee. She is a life trustee emerita and past chair of The Kinkaid School Board of Trustees and a Distinguished Alumna of the school and a former trustee of The Hockaday School. She also is the founding Chair of Houston's The Fay School and has served on numerous other non-profit boards of directors, including the Greater Houston Community Foundation and Phi Beta Kappa Alumni.
Ms. Jeter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
