Dusty Highland

CEO, Smith Brothers Farms

Dusty Highland has been the CEO of Smith Brothers Farms since 2014. As part of the 4th generation of the Smith family, Dusty grew up around Smith Brothers Farms but did not begin working for the dairy until 2012. Smith Brothers Farms has gone through significant changes over the past 18 years. The company sold their dairy farm in Royal City in 2006 to focus efforts on their home delivery business. They then purchased Alpenrose (2019) and Larsen’s Creamery (2022) to expand operations to Portland and more than double in size. The Smith Brothers Farms board is currently made up of 8 family shareholder directors and 3 independent directors. Dusty also serves as President on the Washington State Dairy Council board.
