Christine Heckart is a 30-year veteran of the tech industry with experience on both sides of the board table. An experienced CEO, Heckart has built three companies, served as an executive officer at iconic companies like Microsoft and Cisco, and served on seven public and private boards, including as board chair at Scalyr. During her nearly nine years at Lam Research, the company rose from a small cap to a Fortune 200 company. Heckart is currently CEO and board chair of Xapa, a gamified app that creates high emotional intelligence in leaders and a culture of accountability at all levels of an organization. She also serves on the boards of SiTime, a semiconductor chip company, and Contentful, a pre-public venture-backed startup. In addition, she teaches board governance at Berkeley Executive Education’s NextGen Directors Academy, where she sits on the organization’s board.
