Chitra Nayak has 25+ years of professional experience in Go-To-Market, general management and operations leadership roles at various companies. She currently serves as a board member at public companies Infosys (IT services delivery), Invitae (medical genetics), ForwardAir (freight and logistics), and formerly at LifeWorks (tech-enabled HR services). She also serves on the board of private companies VIMO/GetInsured, a health insurance ACA software for states, UrbanFootprint, a social impact analytics startup, and formerly at Intercom, a messaging platform company. She advises startups on Go-To-Market and is a Senior Advisor at BCG. Most recently she was COO running Go-To-Market at Comfy, a real-estate tech startup, and prior to this was COO at Funding Circle, an online SMB lending marketplace. She was in leadership roles at Salesforce.com for eight years (2007-2015), as COO Platform and SVP Global Sales Development, and prior to that was at AAA, Charles Schwab and the Boston Consulting Group. Chitra has a passion for empowering women in the workplace. She is the cofounder of Neythri.org, a community which supports the advancement of South Asian professional women. She was the cofounder of the Salesforce Women’s Network initiative. She co-created the "Women in Leadership" program and taught an MBA class as part of this program at California State University, East Bay. Chitra has an MBA with Honors from Harvard Business School, an MS in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and a BTech in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
