Cheryl Campbell

Cheryl Campbell is an independent corporate director with over 35 years of experience in energy, including midstream, pipelines, and utilities. Cheryl currently sits on the boards of Pacific Gas and Electric, TC Energy, Summit Utilities, National Underground Group, JANA Corporation, and NACD Colorado. She is active in nonprofit board work as the chair of the Women’s Leadership Foundation and the vice chair for the Gold Shovel Association. Cheryl most recently worked as a senior executive for Xcel Energy, leading the gas business unit with over 2 million customers in eight states. Cheryl also served as a member of the US Department of Transportation’s Gas Pipeline Advisory Committee and testified before a congressional subcommittee on pipeline infrastructure safety. She also was a member of the independent panel assessing the safety of 11 gas utilities in Massachusetts following the September 2018 explosions and fires in Merrimack Valley, as well as the follow-up safety assessment of the new infrastructure built by Columbia Gas.
