Angie Grover

Founder & COO of Metopio

Angie Grover is cofounder and chief operating officer for Metopio. Metopio provides ridiculously easy data and tools to integrate community context into organizational decision-making. Metopio gives users the confidence and tools to explore data, create actionable insights and tell an impactful story. No coding or data science training required. Prior to launching Metopio, Angie served as the Vice President for Government Affairs and Public Policy at AMITA Health, the largest health system based in Illinois (now part of Ascension Health). She led the government affairs team tackling some of healthcare’s thorniest issues and winning awards for advancing telehealth. Angie has held leadership positions over the past 30 years that capitalized on her expertise in healthcare, technology, data, and public affairs hoping to make a difference in the world. She helped create nearly a billion dollars for public conservation at the Nature Conservancy, advised elected officials from coast to coast, consulted a winning campaign in Costa Rica, and presented in Thailand at the World Conservation Congress. Her corporate experience was with McKesson Corporation, a Fortune 5 company, where she led the state government affairs team winning campaigns in every state except Idaho. And yes, she is still looking for that Idaho opportunity. Angie is currently earning her M.B.C. from the University of Utah to complement her B.S. in political science from Drake University and paralegal certificate from the University of San Diego. She frequently speaks on panels and shares insights on topics such as the delivery of healthcare, how to use data to drive decisions in the public and private sector as well as creating successful public affairs programs to advance policy. Angie is honored to serve on the Board of New Moms, a social services agency that interrupts the cycle of poverty by offering housing, job training and family support to young moms and at-risk families in Chicago. She is also a Village of River Forest Mental Health Committee member and a Board Member for the Partnership for a Connected Illinois, an organization seeking to maximize broadband’s impact and use, especially in providing access to healthcare through telehealth.
