Wendy Burden has an extensive background in the retail, consumer products, health care, and technology industries, as well as a strong track record of accomplishments across multiple functions including finance, operations, and strategic planning. Having spent almost two decades with PepsiCo, where she held executive leadership roles as both chief financial officer and general manager, Wendy later served in a number of roles at Victoria's Secret, including executive vice president of operations and administration and executive vice president of business strategy and operations. Wendy later joined Pacific Sunwear of California as chief operating officer.

More recently, Wendy served as an executive with several start-up and middle-market companies in the health care, mobile technology, and medical device industries.

Wendy currently serves on the boards of several businesses and nonprofit organizations, including Just Born, Inc.; Girl Scouts North Carolina Coastal Pines; and the Research Triangle Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Wendy is also an angel investor and a member of RTP Capital and the Angel Capital Association.
