Courtney Kamlet is currently vice president and chief governance and environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) disclosure officer at Vontier Corp., which provides solutions for the mobility ecosystem. At Vontier, she is responsible for all aspects of the governance function, including securities-law reporting; inclusion, diversity, and equity initiatives; ensuring robust ESG disclosure practices; leading the sustainability team; and legal oversight of one of the company’s software businesses.

Kamlet is an agile executive with over 20 years of experience providing broad strategic business and legal advice to boards and executive management of public companies listed on both the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq, overseeing across various industries, including industrial technology, life sciences, financial services, and media companies.

Kamlet is currently an independent board member of the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation. She was also an independent board member for the Society for Corporate Governance from June 2018 to June 2022, where she chaired the membership committee.

Kamlet received both her bachelor’s and juris doctorate degrees from the University of Florida. She is co-creator of the Women Governance Trailblazers podcast, which highlights the careers of corporate directors and other governance professionals, providing insights to listeners. Kamlet was a Diligent 2022 Modern Governance 100 Recipient for ESG, was named a Diversity and Climate Trailblazer, and was named the 2018 Governance Professional of the Year (small to mid-cap) as part of the Corporate Secretary Governance Awards.
