About The Event
Join the NACD Research Triangle Chapter for its signature Leading from the Boardroom program, a full day exploration of trends in board composition, compensation and succession planning.
The program will feature sitting corporate board directors who are members of Compensation and Nom/Gov committees to discuss the factors that influence their decision-making and the challenges they see on the horizon.
The topics include:
- Preparing for a leadership transition: a fireside chat on a recent succession planning experience with a board chair and CEO
- Compensation trends: what’s new, what matters, and what we’ve learned about talent recruitment and retention
- Board evaluations: effective surveys and assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement
- The optimized board: what leaders need to know to stay current on fiduciary and legal requirements, along with a discussion of best practices
The program will include the popular “Birds of a Feather” lunch roundtables and a networking reception to conclude the day.
