

Frank Mattei
Director
Frank Mattei is the former Managing Partner for KPMG’s Pennsylvania Business Unit, overseeing 2,000+ multidisciplinary employees providing a range of services to public and private global organizations. Frank directed all operations and business strategies, including talent initiatives, business development, and risk management. Concurrently, he served as Global Lead Partner and collaborated with the firm’s M&A practice to lead several large-scale reorganization engagements.
Previously, Mr. Mattei held key leadership roles within the firm, including US Tax Head of Industries and Global Tax Sector Leader for Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals. He also guided teams in streamlining client tax operations while managing risk and ensuring compliance. Frank began his career in the Audit practice, building a strong foundation in accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting.
Mr. Mattei’s board experience is extensive. He currently holds positions on the board of directors at King’s College, the National Italian American Foundation, Drexel University Center for Corporate Governance, and, American Cancer Society Philadelphia, CEOs Against Cancer. Frank has previously served on the boards of The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, American Heart Association, Philadelphia Lymphoma and Leukemia Society, and, Villa Maria Academy High School.
Frank Mattei is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
