Dave Burkavage is the EY Philadelphia office managing partner. He has over 19 years of experience and has served numerous public and private clients, including diversified manufacturing, consumer, technology, technology services, private equity, venture capital, and health and life sciences companies. Burkavage has significant accounting, auditing, reporting and transaction experience, including experience with numerous significant business combinations for public and private companies, and numerous initial public offerings, secondary offerings, and financings. Prior to being Philadelphia office managing partner, Burkavage led the EY's Philadelphia growth markets/EY private practice.

Burkavage is active within the Philadelphia business community and is a member of the boards of directors of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia (for which he also serves on the executive committee and audit committee), the Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (for which he also serves on the finance committee), the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association for Corporate Directors, and the Philadelphia Youth Network. At EY, Burkavage serves as a member of the east region leadership team, the chair of the Philadelphia office geo-market network, the market partner sponsor for the Greater Philadelphia Entrepreneur of the Year program, and the co-partner sponsor for the College MAP mentoring program. Burkavage earned his bachelor of business administration and master of science in accountancy degrees from the University of Notre Dame.

Burkavage and his wife, Danielle, live in Philadelphia with their three children.
