Susan H. Mallory draws from a range of experiences and expertise acquired over her career as a senior banking, wealth management and financial services executive at respected publicly traded financial institutions, as a commercial banker and advisor to companies and as a Board Director of Fortune 500 and private companies and non profit organizations.
Susan currently serves as a director of four corporate and three nonprofit boards and has led organizations through growth and transformation, including CEO successions. She has significant experience serving on Audit, Executive, Nominating and Governance, Strategic Planning, Finance, Investment and Executive Compensation Committees. Susan has chaired five non profit boards and a number of committees.
Professionally, Susan has built and led high-performing diverse teams to significantly grow, turn around, re-brand and transform high-impact P&L businesses of substantial scale, including large geographic regions and global and national businesses. As a banking advisor, throughout her career she advised and financed companies, including family enterprises in a variety of different industries, in particular financial services, real estate, manufacturing, distribution and retail. Susan provided advice and financing to these companies through substantial growth nationally and globally, successful sales, IPO’s, acquisitions, restructures, succession planning and post-transition investment management.
Susan is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), Private Directors Association (PDA), the International Women’s Forum and Chairmen’s Roundtable.
She is NACD Directorship Certified, earned the Certificate for Private Company Governance from the PDA and is a trainer in the PDA University Director Training program.
