Richard Munro, FCA, NACD.DC
Chair
Richard Munro is a seasoned independent corporate director having served on public, private equity owned, privately owned, multinational subsidiary boards and not for profit boards for over 30 years. He currently serves as Chairman of the NACD Pacific Southwest Chapter board, as a director of the California Receiver’s Forum, Inc., and as Chief Executive Officer of Invenz Inc., an advisory and consulting firm providing specialized corporate performance improvement services, restructuring services, and fiduciary services when appointed by State and Federal Courts. He recently served as an independent director of UST LLC, a private equity-owned leading manufacturer of consumer nutritional supplements.
Previously in his career, Richard was an international CEO and CFO in multinational consumer brand companies with extensive experience in international business around the Pacific Rim, and in corporate restructuring and turnarounds, business performance improvement, and fiduciary appointments by Courts as a Receiver and Provisional Director.
Richard is Directorship Certified© by NACD; is a NACD Board Leadership Fellow and is a member of the Corporate Directors Roundtable of Orange County.
He holds an MBA from Auckland University and a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Canterbury.
Richard is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of New Zealand and Australia which qualifies him as a SEC financial expert, he has prior audit committee chair experience, and holds a California Real Estate Broker License (BRE: 01900072).
