Richard Munro, NACD.DC

Chair

Richard Munro is a seasoned independent corporate director having served on publicly traded, private equity-owned, privately owned, multinational subsidiary boards, and not-for-profit boards. He currently serves as an independent director of UST LLC, a private equity-owned leading manufacturer of nutritional supplements; as a director of the NACD Pacific Southwest Chapter; as a director and officer of the California Receiver’s Forum, Los Angeles/Orange County Chapter; as a director of the Forum for Corporate Directors; and as CEO of Invenz Inc., a consulting firm providing specialized corporate performance improvement services, restructuring and turnaround services, and fiduciary services when appointed by state or federal courts.

Previously in his career, Munro has been an international CEO and CFO and a consultant, with extensive experience in international business around the Pacific Rim and in corporate restructuring and turnarounds, business performance improvement, and fiduciary appointments by courts as a receiver and provisional director.

Munro is currently NACD Directorship Certified, is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow, and is a current member of the Corporate Directors Roundtable of Orange County.

He holds an MBA from Auckland University and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Canterbury.

Munro is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (CA) of New Zealand and Australia, which qualifies him as an SEC financial expert. He also has prior audit committee chair experience and holds a current California Real Estate Broker license.
