Mike retired from EY on June 30, 2017, after a 39-year career there. Prior to his retirement from EY, he led the Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction Practice for the Western United States for over 13 years. His extensive experience includes providing accounting, audit, mergers & acquisition and business advisory services to engineering and construction companies, homebuilders, developers, REITs and other real estate clients, including personally serving some of West Region’s largest global clients. He has been an active member of both ULI and NAREIT and served on the Advisory Board at the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California. He frequently spoke at real estate events and has been quoted in the media regarding local and national real estate issues and trends. Mike currently serves on one corporate Board of Directors, TPG RE Finance Trust, Inc (NYSE: TRTX). He also served on the Board of Directors of California Hospital Medical Center Foundation for 4+ years through September 2018.
