Christie Chu

Treasurer

Christie Chu is founder, president, and chief executive officer of CKC Accountancy Corp., a tax management and financial consulting firm. She is also currently a member of the Board of Directors of Hanmi Financial Corp. and Hanmi Bank, where she chairs the Compensation and Human Resources Committee. She also served as chairperson on the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Chu brings more than 30 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant at CKC Accountancy Corp., KPMG, Ernst & Young LLP, and Arthur Anderson & Co., collectively. She has a deep sense of commitment to the Korean American community and has devoted herself to promoting the interest of the Korean American Certified Public Accountants. She served as the past president of the Korean American CPA Society of Southern California and has been a board member since 2004. She is a member and past treasurer of the National Korean American Society of CPAs, as well as a current member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Chu earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles. She also completed the Director Education and Certification Program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
