Mark Finkelstein is a member of the board of directors of Columbia Banking System Inc. (Nasdaq: COLB), where he serves as a member of the nominating and governance, compensation, and enterprise risk management committees. He is also a member of the board of directors of Christensen Inc. and the audit and compliance committee of the board of trustees of Seattle Children's Healthcare System. From 2014 through 2017, he was the chief legal and administrative officer and secretary of Blucora Inc. (Nasdaq: BCOR), a leading provider of technology-enabled financial solutions for consumers, small business owners, and tax professionals. Previously, he was general counsel, corporate secretary, and executive vice president of corporate development at Emeritus Corp., an New York Stock Exchange - listed senior health care company with more than 30,000 employees supporting operations in 45 states. Prior to joining Emeritus, Finkelstein served as a strategy advisor for private investment management firms in the United States and Europe and as the CEO and a member of the board of directors of Novellus Capital Management. From 1986 to 2006, he practiced law with the Seattle law firm of Graham & Dunn P.C. (n/k/a Miller Nash LLP), where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, complex financing strategies, and other corporate transactions. He is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow.
