About The Event
Technological changes (e.g., generative artificial intelligence (AI)) are happening at a rapid pace and leading to exponential business growth for early adapters.
These changes have drawn significant media attention in recent years and necessitate board members to swiftly understand such technologies and recognize the value for their respective business.
However, these technologies have a steeper learning curve and require a balanced assessment from board members of the benefits and risks before implementing them at scale, to benefit their business and customers. Investing in such technology requires a deeper understanding and risk analysis of legal, social, ethical, regulatory, cybersecurity, and privacy factors.
In this session, participants will gain insights into:
-
The impact of recent technological changes on organizations and how chief information officers (CIOs) and chief technology officers (CTOs) are managing these changes
-
What board members can do to recognize the value and assess risks of using modern technologies
-
Managing cybersecurity and privacy threats in such environments
