As president and CEO, he oversees the company’s integrated portfolio that includes food processing; food brands; farming, ranching, and cattle production; phosphate mining and fertilizer manufacturing; and other agricultural-related enterprises. Simplot, headquartered in Boise, Idaho, has major operations throughout the United States as well as Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, and Mexico. Lofto will share his experiences at Simplot and the future challenges he foresees for the agricultural-based industry.
