- AI, including the potential impact on operations, processes, and labor force.
- Cybersecurity, including incident response and contingency planning.
What are your top three tips for directors to ensure they are well-prepared for tomorrow’s challenges?
- Maintain an understanding of the changing political, cultural, and social dynamic.
- Keep abreast of technological changes and their impacts on the business and operating dynamic.
- Maintain systems and processes sufficient to allow the board to fulfill its duty to monitor.

- Risk management and loss prevention, including but not limited to risk transfer through insurance.

- Data background to allow the board to assess the adequacy of its risk transfer options.

A homemade meal. Hands down, there’s nothing better than sharing an epicurean experience with folks—phones away.

Getting outside and playing ball with my kids, plein air painting, or mountain bike riding.
