

Maggie Wilderotter

Maggie Wilderotter is a seasoned executive and board member with extensive experience leading both Fortune 500 companies and startups. She serves on the boards of Fortinet, Costco Wholesale Corporation, and Sana Biotechnology, and is the chairwoman of DocuSign. She also serves on the private boards of Tanium and Sonoma Biotherapeutics. Wilderotter held significant leadership roles, including chief executive officer of Frontier Communications from 2004 to 2015, during which she transformed the company from a regional provider into a national broadband and telecommunications leader.
Her previous positions include CEO of Frontier Communications, senior vice president of global business strategy at Microsoft, and president and CEO of Wink Communications. Wilderotter has also served on various boards, including those of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Procter & Gamble, and Xerox, and has been involved in national cybersecurity initiatives as a member of the President’s Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity.
She holds a B.A. in economics from the College of the Holy Cross and has received honorary degrees from the Stevens Institute of Technology and the University of Rochester.
Wilderotter was named one of the Top 20 2024 Value Creating Corporate Directors in America by the Chief Executive Group. In 2024, she received the NACD B. Kenneth West Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication to effective leadership, improvement of corporate governance, and the demonstrable impact she has had throughout her boardroom service.
