About The Event
Fellow black directors got together for a breakfast at EY’s San Jose office to discuss what boards need to know about oversight of AI. EY’s chief innovation officer, Jeff Wong, gave a look beyond the headlines and the hype to explore current AI use cases, how opportunities and risks are evolving, what “responsible AI” really looks like, and what it all means for board members. Perspectives and practices were shared leaving you with some practical takeaways to bring to your next board meeting.
NACD Northern California is committed to increase diversity in the boardroom, which will ensure experiences of all communities are represented at the highest level of leadership. This cohort is for black directors, aspiring directors and allies. Our purpose is to form a community of black directors who can share their experiences and connect on a personal basis. The format is designed to be informal and complement the regular NACD programming on current topics in the boardroom. We meet quarterly and hope you will enjoy this opportunity to connect with your fellow black colleagues in smaller group discussions.
