Foley/Heffernan/FTI Consulting Crisis Tabletop: CEO Succession

During this time of “permacrisis” it has never been more important for board directors to be ready and able to safeguard their organizations.

We welcomed NACD Northern California board directors, as well as experts Sara Sendek (Managing Director, FTI Consulting), Louis Lehot (Partner, Foley & Lardner), Joe Talmadge (Senior Vice President, Heffernan Insurance Brokers. We were also delighted to welcome Elizabeth Lampert (President, Elizabeth Lampert PR) who guided the group through an in-depth tabletop exercise on crisis management.

The discussion was centered on crucial themes such as CEO succession and cybersecurity issues, and provided a framework to take back to boardrooms to plan for any type of eventuality. Directors, Melinda Yee Franklin and Bethany Mayer shared stories throughout the evening with their learnings.
