About The Event
The adoption of new digital ways of work for both boards and employees has accelerated the board’s role in ensuring proper governance, especially in the ever-changing digital-first communications landscape. The increasing use of Snapchat, Wechat, Whatsapp, Slack and Text begs the question: To keep or not to keep?
We had an intimate private dinner where our discussion focused on key issues boards should consider related to digital oversight centering around the use of electronic communication.
Thought leaders Tom Carlucci, Tom Becker and Tim Anderson guided us through a peer discussion of all the legal and governance ramifications surrounding ‘ephemeral electronic communications’ where misuse of these tools or not keeping records could cause your company to be criminally prosecuted or expose it to significant financial and reputational damage.
