The discussion started as a fireside chat with Anthony Soohoo and then we had breakout groups to discuss your thoughts and questions on the following:

1. What is an appropriate data-governance framework that makes clear how and what data is being collected, stored, managed, and used, and who makes decisions regarding these issues?
2. Which business leaders are responsible for data governance across the enterprise, including the roles of the chief information officer, chief information security officer, and chief compliance officer?
3. How can committee structure bring the right focus and attention to cybersecurity as well as the company’s data governance framework, including privacy, ethics, and hygiene?

Our purpose is to form a community of Asian directors who can share their experiences and connect on a personal basis. These cohorts are open to Asian directors, Asian aspiring directors, or allies who might be interested in this program.
